Have you ever had a problem that seemed so stuck and so complicated that you just couldn’t get it straight in your mind? And the more you tried to make sense of it, the more complicated it seemed to get. We’ve all had a problem like that before, and it’s good to know that there are people in the world who make it their business to help others solve problems.
But what happens when the person who is supposed to solve the problems is also confused by the problem? Who helps then?
It’s useful to know that there is a wealth of resources to be had for those who make it their business to help others. At People Building, we have walked in all of those pairs of shoes. We have been that person with a problem, and know how that feels, that urgency to fee open one’s own mind. We have been the therapists helping the client with their problem, and we have even been the therapist who has once in a while listened to a client and thought “heck, what do I do here?” It’s great to be challenged in this way because we accept that no one person has access to all of the possible answers, and accepting this only drives us to discover the answers we haven’t yet got.
Now, we are established as a support network for therapists also. Every week we receive inquiries such as therapists requesting Hypnosis scripts for problems they are unsure of how to tackle, or parents who are interested in our NLP for children programmes, wondering what small steps they can take to encourage their children. And unlike other popular training organisations we do one significant thing differently to other training companies that I approached when I was a therapist, feeling suck about a problem. The most meaningful thing that they do, is that they reply. And when they reply, they will point you in the best direction they know and offer the best suggestions they have. This in itself is unique- that a training company that is busy conducting NLP and hypnotherapy training courses reply to a message for help, let alone that they will help anyone in any way they can, even if that person has never actually trained with them- even if you have trained with a competitor training company.
However, before you go ahead and call or email them, the best point of reference is their website. Here you will find Hypnosis scripts for hypnotherapists, hypnotherapy audio mp3’s and e-books to help you write your own hypnosis scripts, e-book of collections of hypnotherapy scripts and e-books to help quit smoking, improve confidence and relationships. There are also many other resources contained on the site, such as quizzes and personality tests which you might like to try out for yourself or refer you clients to so that they can discover more information about themselves and how their mind operates.
They frequently publish a free hypnosis script in their free fortnightly newsletter, which also contains hint and tips on NLP based techniques that you might like to try out with your clients.

Hypnosis can be used for theraputic benefits
Hypnosis can be used for therapeutic benefits. It can be used to assist people with overcoming a variety of problems and aliments such as quit smoking, weight loss and building confidence.
Using our experience as qualified hypnotherapists who also specialize in Hypnotherapy training (a 3 week course run over 3 months) we have collated the hypnosis scripts that we have written throughout our years as therapists, and in doing so, have now had these published in a downloadable format from our informative website. The scripts can either be bought in bulk or individually. When purchased individually, the prices of the scripts range from being completely free to a maximum of about £3.00. The pricing is varied depending on the number of words in the script itself (this is displayed with each script available) the demand for a scripts of that subject, and the amount of linguistic structure that was included in that particular hypnosis script.
Hypnosis scripts are not just used for hypnotherapists. Many people who have studied NLP have an understanding of how to get a patient into trance and out of trance. This means that during the trance experience, it would be more than reasonable for the NLP Practitioner to use a Hypnosis script that relates to the specific problem that the patient has. The script can either be used as it is, or just to provide the NLP Practitioner with some inspiration or idea about how they can begin to tackle the problem that the client has.
Knowing that we write hypnosis scripts that people like to purchase, we would like to share with you the skills required to write hypnosis scripts. This is why we have written a downloadable e-book which details the many techniques available to you to help you to write hypnosis scripts. The book contains tools which enable you to structure your language and sentences in a hypnotic way, a way that is designed to create trance.
Trance is a perfectly natural and normal state. People go into trance all the time, everyday, without the help of a hypnotist. If you have ever driven home from work and parked up your car, only to realize that you can’t actually remember your journey that you have just taken (and also know that you haven’t left a trail of destruction behind you – you did stop at all of the red lights and give way at all of the roundabouts!) this is an experience of trance. In the same way that you know, even when you were driving in that trance state, if your car had caught fire, you would have realized and stopped driving, when in a hypnotic trance with a hypnotherapist, if there was a problem there (in the room, with something that was said or done that you were not comfortable with) you would know about that also. This is good because it gives you the opportunity to accept the suggestions you are given when they fit in with who you are and what you want to achieve, and to reject the suggestions that do not necessarily "sit right" with you. A deeper experience of this natural trance state, could be, for example, if you have ever fallen asleep with your television on, when you’re not in a deep sleep, in fact you can still hear the television in background at time. You could easily get up and switch off the television, but it just feels like too much effort. You are so relaxed that your body feels very heavy and too heavy to lift up.

Trance is different for everyone.
Trance is different for everyone, and every person has reported a different experience of it to the next. The best way to explain how trance is helpful to create change in human behavior is if you think about the fact that you have a conscious and an unconscious mind. Your conscious mind is the part that does all of the moment to moment thinking, it’s the logical mind, the mind where you might "chit chat" to yourself throughout the day, where you keep short term information.
For example, if I asked you to remember this sequence of numbers 47294754836261034 for the next half an hour, you’d be repeating it to yourself in the conscious part of your mind (unless you write it down or perform a kind of memory technique- for information of how to use memory techniques and remember information visually visit our website and click on one of the links that say "would you like to create more wealth and abundance in your life".) If however, you are someone who knows their own phone number off the top of your head (most people do), you’ll know that this is a number that you do not need to constantly have to repeat yourself. That is because it is stored in your unconscious mind. So your unconscious mind is your long term memory, it tends to be linked more with feeling than thinking and is also where all of your behaviours and habits are stored (good ones and bad ones)- so all of the things you do without thinking about doing them are operated from this part of your mind. That is why in hypnosis, it is important for the hypnotherapist to use hypnosis scripts that are going to allow access to that part of the clients mind because this is usually where the changes will need to be made.
As a qualified hypnotherapist myself (General Hypnotherapy Register United kingdom Registered), I always tend to follow the same basic format when inducing a trance with the client I am working with. That is, I use an induction, a deepener and then the script for the problem we are looking to solve. I personally tend to spend about half an hour doing the induction and deepener and then another half an hour doing the script for the problem we are looking at. If at the end of that session, the client reports back saying that they have had an enjoyable experience of trance and found it easy to do, then the next time I meet with them, I will use the same induction and deepener. This is because I think that they will get used to hearing those particular words and then begin to relax. It works on the same principal as the NLP technique called anchoring- an internal feeling created by some kind of external stimuli. The way that the hypnosis induction and deepener script works is that the client will hear those words and go into the relaxed state.

Experience Hypnosis Without Going To A Hypnotherapist
If you would like to get an amazing experience of hypnosis without going to a hypnotherapist to get it, you are now able to download our hypnotherapy audios, which have been written and are presented by a qualified hypnotherapist, with relaxing music playing in the background. The hypnosis audios are recordings of the hypnosis scripts with which they appear on the People Building website. Our free hypnosis audio is made up of a hypnotic induction scripts called “Body relaxation induction” and a deepener called “relaxing Inner self for Healing” It is just over half an hour long and forms the basis for all of our other hypnosis downloads which can be purchased from the site. In all of our other Hypnosis audio downloads, those two particular scripts are used as the induction and deepener, and are then followed by the substance of whatever particular area of improvement you need to focus on. Therefore, by downloading our free Hypnosis audio, you will be training your mind on how to go into trance, so that when you are ready to deal with some of the bigger issues you would like to improve, your system will then be used to hearing that same hypnotic music, voice and words and know that it is now time to go into a trance.
The free hypnosis download can be downloaded and listened to from your computer, or from itunes and downloaded onto your ipod. Simply look up People Building from your itunes store and select the hypnosis podcast.
Of course, by using a hypnosis download, you may not be able to solve all of the issues you are hoping to, because the information is generic and has not been created especially for you and your problems. That is why you can request an audio to be created to meet your specific needs. If you think that there is a audio on the site which may be appropriate, but you are unsure, you could buy the hypnosis script first to read the content of it.
For some problems, there are additional resources available. For example, for those wishing to stop smoking, we have a quit smoking e-book, called “freedom from smoking the NLP way.” This ebook contains hints, tips and activities to help you make the transition from a smoker to a non smoker and offers a money back guarantee. The cost of the book is roughly equivalent to the cost of 3 packets of cigarettes so just think about how much you could save in the long run.
On the subject of savings, if it’s our hypnosis scripts that you are interested in, in particular, you will be pleased to know that we offer meaty discounts to those who want to purchase lots of hypnosis scripts, rather than buying them individually. There are, at last count over 60 hypnosis scripts on our website. The cost of buying them all would be around $180.00 (roughly £90.00) This is why we offer saving of up to $60.00 (roughly £30.00) for buying collections of our hypnotherapy scripts.

How to Write Hypnosis scripts
Hypnotherapy and NLP are therapies that come hand in hand in many ways. One of the main chunks in an NLP training is about language, and this includes the Milton model and the Meta model. The Milton model is used to induct trance experience and the Meta model is used to create the reverse effect, to create greater specificity and an “out of trance” experience. These are both components of a traditional NLP training programme and are also key components in hypnotherapy. In addition, NLP covers many different types of language techniques and patterns which can assist you, when you decide to create a hypnosis script.
There are many different patterns that can be used to create a very good hypnotherapy induction script. Here are some examples of what these are:
Double Binds:
“You will go into a trance now, or in a few moments, Either way you are relaxing.”
This patterns gives the illusion of choice, however which ever choice the client makes, they will still end up going into a hypnotic trance.
Cause and Effect:
“If you listen to my voice, then you will go into a trance, because you are wanting to learn many new things.”
This pattern implies that one thing causes another, even though logically there may be no link between the cause of one thing on another. If the client accepts the plausibility of one thing being linked to another, then they will be.
Intonation Patterns:
“As you begin to relax more, you’ll find that changing is much easier than you had ever imagined.”
This pattern is used to express emphasis on particular words within a sentence to give an embedded command. So in the sentence above, the following words could be accentuated “relax more” “changing is much easier.”
Mind reading:
“You know that I’m wanting you to relax more, and I know that you truly can…”
This pattern is when the therapist claims within the hypnosis script, that they know the thoughts or feelings of the client, without explaining the process by which they came to know.
Not knowing, not doing:
“You don’t have to listen to me, you don’t even have to try to go into a trance, you can just know that everything is happening just as it should be, in exactly the way you want it to.”
This pattern uses negation to direct the client towards whatever it is that you want them to do. This displaces resistance and works very well with embedded commands.
Metaphors:
“You can feel on top of the world…”
Metaphors are symbols to explain in a short and simple way something that has a greater or deeper meaning. The above metaphor is simply a sentence to explain being happy, feeling good and being in control. However a transformational metaphor could be a whole story which is used to symbolize how the client can overcome their problem. Transformational metaphors and nested loops are explained in more detail in “How to create excellent hypnosis scripts” an E-book designed to assist you in writing hypnosis scripts for hypnotherapy purposes.
Sensory Predicates:
“Allow that feeling of relaxation wash over you …as your eyes begin to gently close …so that you see the backs of your dark lids and you listen only to the sound of my voice.”
These are words that relate to the senses that are included in the sentence that you structure in your hypnotic script. During hypnosis the senses are heightened and the use of these words can encourage your client to become more engage in the experience of the trance.
